The Chinese Silkworm is a subsonic shipboard and coastal defense anti-ship missile developed from the Soviet SS-N-2 Styx. An early anti-ship missile, the Silkworm is largely outdated.
The coastal defense version is designated CSS-C-2 Silkworm by the West and Hai Ying-1 (Sea Eagle-1) by China.
