The CM-401 is an advanced, short-range hypersonic anti-ship ballistic missile developed for the Chinese armed forces. It is designed to be used against medium and large surface ships, particularly aircraft carriers, major surface combatants and high-value vessels, as well as ship formations and offshore targets.
