The Naval Strike Missile (NSM) is a fourth-generation surface-to-surface missile made of composite materials. Stealth technology was utilized in the missile to reduce its signature. It is designed for both littoral and open-sea environments. The missile is capable of flying over and around land masses. The missile body measures 13 ft (3.96 m), with a total weight of 897 lb (407 kg), including the NSM's explosive warhead which weighs 280 lb (125 kg).
