AS-17 Krypton air-to-surface missile

The Kh-31 (NATO: AS-17 Krypton) is an air-to-surface missile (ASM) designed to counter the U.S. Patriot and Aegis weapon systems. It has anti-ship and anti-radar variants.

The AS-17 Krypton is similar to the (cancelled) French/German ANS (anti-naviere supersonique) air-to-surface missile, but is nearly twice as fast.
