The TY-90 (Tian Yan-90, or Sky Swallow-90) is a Chinese-developed helicopter-launched air-to-air missile. The missile has also been modified for firing by ground-based launchers, including the LD-2000 and Yitian (see separate records). It was developed primarily for China's Z-10 attack helicopter and has also been tested with Z-9W and Mi-17 aircraft. The missile can defeat other helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles and other slow-moving fixed-wing aircraft.
