The SA-N-1 (Russian M-1 Volna system) is a shipboard surface-to-air missile (SAM) system first deployed in the early 1960s. The missile is the naval variant of the land-based SA-3 Goa (see separate record for more information).

It has limited surface-to-surface capability and its performance has been less than satisfactory.

The system uses a ZIF-101 or ZIF-102 fully automated cross-level stabilized twin-launcher. The -101 version is drum-fed, while the -102 employs a conveyor belt...
