The K-100 is a long-range air-to-air missile intended for the Su-30 and Su-35 fighter families. Novator apparently designed the missile specifically to counter long-range surveillance and intelligence aircraft, such as the E-2 Hawkeye and E-3 Sentry.
The weapon is based on the 3M83 missile that is used by the S-300V (NATO: SA-12 Gladiator) anti-aircraft system.
