The Bavar 373 is an Iranian air defense system developed from the Russian S-300 (NATO: SA-10 Grumble). Development was reportedly triggered by the cancellation of the sale of SA-10s from Russia due to international sanctions. Assistance was reportedly provided by China and North Korea.
