This mine was used as a defense against armored cars, tanks or other vehicles. The mine could break tracks of light and medium tanks and disable other vehicles.
The G.S. Mk II had three main components: loaded body, cover and fuze. The mine cover fit over the body and was supported by a leaf spring.
