PMN-4 anti-personnel mine

The PMN-4 is a high-explosive (HE), delay-armed, pressure-fired, anti-personnel (APERS) blast mine. The cover of the mine is black; the body is reddish brown.

The mine can be manually implanted or scattered from a moving vehicle. It contains numerous metal parts and should be detectable with a mine detector.

status

The mine went on public display for the first time in 1993. The PMN-4 is in use, though not widely.
