The MRUD (Mina Rasprskavajuca Usmerenog Dejstva, or mine, directed fragmentation) directional fragmentation land mine contains a convex-shaped plastic explosive with 650 pre-fragmented 5.5-mm steel balls molded into the front of the explosive.
