Type 89 tank destroyer

The Chinese Type 89 tank destroyer mounts a 120-mm gun that was originally designed to also be fitted on Beijing's second-generation main battle tank. The gun and tank destroyer concept was retained when China gave up the development of the second-generation program in the early 1980s.
