T-62 main battle tank

As successor to the T-54 /T-55 series, the T-62 was the Soviet army's principle main battle tank (MBT) until superseded by the T-72 and T-80 . Based on the T-55 , the subsequently Russian T-62 has a longer and wider hull, new turret, gaps between the third, fourth and fifth road wheels and a longer, fatter gun barrel fitted with a fume extractor.
