The Kaplan is an armored combat fighting vehicle developed by Turkish firm FNSS. The platform is expected to keep pace with main battle tanks. It is designed as a platform for anti-tank guided weapons, including the indigenous Omtas and Russian Kornet-E missiles. The Kaplan-10 was developed as part of the Weapons Carrier Vehicle (STA) project conducted by Turkey's Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).
