Type M-98 infantry assault vehicle

The Type M-98 was an armored patrol vehicle developed by China for the export market. It was designed for assault, reconnaissance and patrol missions in high-value areas.

The vehicle was based on the commercial Isuzu TFS55HDJL 4 x 4 cross-country chassis modified to meet military requirements. It had a conventional layout with the engine at the front. The remainder of the vehicle had space for four crewmembers, ammunition and equipment.
