The Gekko was a light armored vehicle demonstrator being developed in Turkey using composite technology. The concept was designed to provide a high level of mobility along with protection against small-arms fire and shell fragments.
The vehicle had a conventional layout with the engine compartment at the front, crew compartment in the middle and cargo compartment at the rear. The latter could be armored or protected as required by the customer.
