The Gaucho is a light 4 x 4 vehicle originally developed jointly by Argentina and Brazil for military service. It is designed for reconnaissance, air assault, command, transport and medical evacuation missions. It is also identified by the Argentine army as the VLEGA ( Vehiculo Ligero de Empleos Generales Aerotransportable) Gaucho.
