The Eagle family of armored wheeled reconnaissance vehicles was developed by Mowag in Switzerland. The Eagle is available in several mission configurations including command and liaison, reconnaissance, police, patrol, artillery forward observation and explosive ordnance disposal. The design has gone through several iterations. See "Variants," below, for more information.
