The ZLC-2000 is an assault vehicle for China's airborne forces. It was likely developed from a small number of Russian BMD-series vehicles that were purchased by China. There are at least three variants of the vehicle.

The vehicle has a conventional configuration with the driver seated at the front left, the diesel powerpack to the front right, a one-man turret in the center and the troop compartment to the rear.
