The ZBD-04 is a Chinese tracked infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). It is a new chassis fitted with the same two-man turret that is found on the Russian BMP-3 IFV. The vehicle is intended to replace China's Type 86 IFVs (based on the Russian BMP-1) and operate with the Type 96 and Type 99 tanks.
