The Dutch YP408 is an 8 x 6 wheeled armored personnel carrier that wasreplaced by the tracked YPR 765 armored infantry fighting vehicle. The basic YP408 was dubbed the PanserWagen Infantrie-Standard (PWI-S) by the Dutch. One of the few wheeled APCs that was not powered on all axles, the DAF-built YP408 offered a mixture of conventional and unusual features.
