The VCTP (Vehiculo de Combate Transporte de Personal) infantry combat vehicle was developed, along with the TAM medium tank, by Thyssen Henschel of Germany for the Argentine army.
The TAM and VCTP share the same automotive components and outward appearance except for the turrets. This similarity results from both vehicles being based on the Marder ICV engine and chassis.
