The Valuk light armored vehicle is based on the Austrian-built Pandur 6 x 6. It is manufactured in Slovenia under a license agreement with the Austrian company Steyr Daimler Puch Spezialfahrzueg.

The Valuk can be equipped with an OWS-25 stabilized overhead weapon station designed by Rafael of Israel, armed with a 25-mm Bushmaster cannon and a coaxial 7.62-mm machine gun, or a Rafael remote-controlled weapon station (RCWS) with a 12.7-mm machine gun or 40-mm automatic grenade...
