The Type 90 armored personnel carrier (APC) is the lead vehicle in a family of 10 different types announced by China's NORINCO in 1991. It is based on the Type 85 APC (see separate record), but has several differences. It was developed specifically for the export market and was never fielded with the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
