The Tulpar is a family of tracked armored infantry vehicles developed by Turkish defense company Otokar. All variants share the same chassis, weighing from 61,700 lb (28,000 kg) to 99,200 lb (45,000 kg), and are designed for operational flexibility.
The system is named after a mythical winged horse that guarded warriors in the Turkish epic, Manas.
