Designed as a replacement to several older armored personnel carriers in the Turkish arsenal, the FNSS armored infantry fighting vehicle (AIFV) is a joint venture between United Defense (now BAE Systems) in the U.S. and Turkey's NUROL Group. The chassis is used as the basis for a family of light armored vehicles in service with Turkey and other nations.
