The BDX 4 x 4 armored personnel carrier (APC) is the licensed-built Belgian version of the Irish Timoney APC.

The BDX has a highly sloped glacis and the driver sits in the center front portion of the hull. He has two windscreens to his side and one to the front that is hinged forward and has a wiper. The windscreens are 81-mm thick and made of multiplex glass. The engine compartment is to the rear of the d river.
