The ASCOD (Austrian-Spanish Cooperative Development) armored infantry fighting vehicle is one of a family of vehicles produced by General Dynamics, Santa Barbara Sistemas (GDSBS) of Madrid, Spain and Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG of Vienna, Austria. The systems are mounted on a chassis with a reduced signature due to low silhouette.
