The Chinese Sky Dragon is a medium-range surface-to-air missile system designed to defeat fixed-wing and rotary aircraft, uncrewed aerial vehicles and cruise missiles. The baseline model is also known as the Sky Dragon 50 or GAS2. NORINCO also offers a short-range air defense system designated the Sky Dragon 12 (see "Variants," below).
