The Mobile Ground-Based Air Defense System is a highly mobile short-range air defense system being developed by Kongsberg for the Norwegian army. It is designed to combat modern airborne threats.
The system uses the IRIS-T infrared missile as its interceptor. The missiles will be launched using an advanced IRIS-T SLS missile launcher. A remotely operated weapon station may also be fitted for self-defense.
