The FK-1000 is a short- to medium-range surface-to-air missile weapon system produced by the state-owned China Aerospace and Industry Corp. (CASIC). The system is designed to defend against medium-to-low altitude and medium-to-short range aerial targets, including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and cruise missiles. The system is comparable to the Russian-made Pantsyr-S1.
