The 20-mm M55 anti-aircraft gun has been produced in three models: A2, A3 B1 and A4 B1. All consist of the license-built triple arrangement of the Hispano-Suiza HSS-804 20-mm gun.

The M55 has a two-wheel carriage and is towed by an ARI-51 4 x 4 truck.
