152-mm Type 83

The Chinese 152-mm Type 83 towed gun is thought to be a development of the 152-mm Type 66 howitzer and designed as a replacement for the 122-mm Type 54. The Type 83 is a powerful weapon, able to fire a 106-lb (48-kg) projectile more than 16 nm (19 mi, 30 km).
