The B-11 107-mm recoilless gun is a smoothbore weapon that can be fired either from its two-wheel carriage or a tripod mount.

In some models of the B-11, the breech has been enlarged and covered with a grill or jacket to dissipate the heat from the chamber. The sights allow for indirect fire.

The B-11 fires high-explosive (HE) and high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) fin-stabilized ammunition that is similar to a mortar round.
