The Indian Mark 2 105-mm Light Gun was similar to the British Light Gun, having the same barrel design but a greater weight and slightly different dimensions. It was still capable of being sling-loaded under a helicopter and dropped by parachute.
The Mark 2 fired high-explosive (HE), smoke, base ejection, star and HE squash head (HESH) projectiles.
Initial operational capability (IOC) in late 1970s. No longer in production or service. Formerly in service in India.
