The DANA (dell automobilny nabijene automatickly, automobile gun automatically loaded) is a 152-mm self-propelled howitzer that is based on a lengthened Tatra 815 VT 8 x 8 truck chassis.
The DANA was the first self-propelled artillery weapon to be produced in the Warsaw Pact outside of the former Soviet Union. It is unusual because of the mounting of such a large caliber gun on a wheeled chassis rather than the more conventional method of using a tracked chassis.
