The 130-mm Bereg self-propelled coastal artillery system is designed to engage surface ships, fleet auxiliaries and motor boats, as well as ground targets at distances of up to 12 mi (20 km).

It is a completely self-contained mobile system. It can concentrate firepower at threatened sectors at any time in all weather and electronic environments. The Bereg can effectively engage sea targets moving at speeds of up to 200 knots (230 mph, 370 kph).
