The Syrian T-34/122 self-propelled howitzer is a local conversion that combines the chassis of the obsolete T-34 tank with the highly regarded Russian 122-mm D-30 towed howitzer.
The T-34 turret was removed and the interior gutted; only the driver's position was untouched.
