105-mm SH5

The SH5 is a 105-mm 6 x 6 self-propelled artillery system developed by NORINCO for China's export market. The howitzer is fitted to the same truck platform as the 122-mm SH2 (see separate record).

The 105-mm/37-cal howitzer is fitted to a turntable in an unprotected mount on a flatbed to the rear of the four-door protected cab. It has a limited traverse of 30 degrees left and right and a maximum elevation of 70 degrees.
