The Swedish 40-mm L/70 anti-aircraft gun is the successor to the 40-mm L/60, which was mass-produced for many Allied forces in World War II. The two guns are similar, but the L/70 has a higher rate of fire, higher muzzle velocity, faster elevation and traverse, and more sophisticated fire control.
