The Type W84 82-mm mortar consisted of three components: tube, bipod and base plate. It was similar to earlier 82-mm mortars, but had a longer barrel and a circular base plate.
The Type W84 fired high-explosive (HE), smoke and illuminating ammunition.
status
No longer in service. NORINCO may still offer the Type W84 for export.
