The Super Rapid Advanced Mortar System (SRAMS) is designed to be a high firepower weapon with low impact, allowing operations from lighter vehicles than would normally be the case for a 120-mm mortar system. The system was developed by Singapore Technologies Kinetics (STK), a division of Singapore Technologies (ST) Engineering.

SRAMS weighs 2,650 lb (1,200 kg), including the barrel, recoil mechanism and automatic loader. The barrel is 5 ft 11 in (1.8 m) long.
