The T96 remote-control weapon station was developed by the Ministry of Defense for Taiwan's CM-32 Clouded Leopard armored personnel carriers.
The second-generation system can also be used for anti-armor, anti-landing, ground support, low-level air defense and close ship defense applications, according to Taiwanese military officials.
