The Remax is a remotely operated weapon station developed by Ares in Brazil for the Brazilian army. It is integrated with several variants of the Guarani armored personnel carrier, including logistics, border patrol and peacekeeping configurations.

The stabilized, servo-controlled weapon station can be equipped with a Browning M2 heavy-barrel (HB) 0.50-cal or 7.62-mm MAG machine gun. An automatic re-cocking capability is provided. An internal health-monitoring system is fitted.
