The MSTA-S, also known as the 2S19, is a large, Soviet-designed, tracked, self-propelled 152-mm gun in use by the armies of Russia and other former Soviet states. It was developed as the replacement for older 152-mm 2S3 and 2S5 self-propelled howitzers (see separate records for more information).
The 2A64 gun is the same as the towed 2A65 (M1986) (see "Variants," below). The 2S19 is also offered for export.
