The Yasin is a domestically produced Iranian jet trainer. It was originally designed for training missions but has been considered for light attack roles. The aircraft was designed by the Iranian armed forces. The jet was previously referred to as the Kowsar-88. Two J90 turbofan engines each producing 7,000 lb of thrust are fitted to the Yasin.
