T-1 Hatsutaka

Country of Origin: Japan

The T-1 trainer was the first jet-propelled aircraft designed and series-produced in Japan. The early production units had British engines with the last 22 units being the first aircraft powered by Japanese-designed engines. The T-1 has been replaced by the Kawasaki T-4 (see separate database entry).
