The Xianglong (Chinese for "Soar Dragon") is a high-altitude long-endurance (HALE) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) being developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Corp. It is intended for maritime reconnaissance missions, as well as surveillance, intelligence-gathering, bomb-damage assessment and communications relay operations.
