The Shtil ("Calm") was a fixed-wing vertical takoff and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicle that was under development with the Russian Kvand company and Belarus's Indela Laboratory.
The dual requirements -- to be able to hover and fly as a conventional aircraft -- required the aircraft to use a complex structural gas turbine engine system mounted in the center fuselage, which consisted of three turbojet engines.
