The Rustom (Hindi for "warrior") is a medium-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that is being developed by the Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) for the Indian armed forces. It is expected to perform intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance; communications and data relay; and scientific and meteorological missions. There are also plans for armed and naval variants. The Rustom is in the same class as the U.S. Predator drone.
